Tarek Hassanien founded Navysky in 1994 as an exclusive fashion consulting agency that discovers new talent in Italy and throughout the world. Located in the artisans neighborhood of San Frediano on Piazza Piattellina, it serves as a point of reference between designer; manufacturer; agents and sales points as each project it selects navigates the company’s graphics lab; multi-media design center; advertising; marketing; distribution and exposition planning divisions. To stimulate the urban fiber of the popular quarter and further his passion to discover and exhibit new artists from all over the world in 1999 he opened Spazio Disponibile, an exposition space and laboratory of contemporary communication. The gallery extends its exhibitions into the O!O Bar con Cucina, launched in 2001. Pioneering crossover concepts of Tuscany and Mediterranean food, the “O!O” blends design, music, art and organic art food” to create a ‘contemporary’ experience.
